Basic qualifications for all jobs at TMI include the following:

FACILITATOR
The Facilitator performs direct service and support under direct supervision of the Coordinator and indirect supervision of the Director of either the Employment Solutions or Community Living Services Programs and the CEO/CFO. The qualified candidate has working knowledge of supported employment/integrated work or community living and philosophy of community based instruction.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • BA/BS in human services or related area, or a combination of related practical experience and education.
  • One year experience working with individuals with disabilities preferably in a community setting or related experience.

LEAD FACILITATOR
The Lead Facilitator performs duties under direct supervision of a Coordinator and indirect supervision of the Program Director and the CEO / CFO. He/She serves as direct support to the facilitators. The qualified candidate has working knowledge of integrated work, supported employment or community living and philosophy of community-based instruction. The candidate will supervise other facilitators. This is a full time, exempt and salaried position.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • BA / BS in human services related area and two years experience preferred or a
    combination of practical experience and education equal to five years in developmental
    disabilities in a community-based vocational program
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • The candidate demonstrates the ability to supervise other employees.

COORDINATOR/DIVISION MANAGER
The Employment Solutions Division Manager and Community Living Services Coordinator perform duties under direct supervision of the Program Director and indirect supervision of CEO/CFO. He/She directly supervises Facilitators in the Integrated Work and/or in Employment Services or Community Living. The qualified candidate has a working knowledge of Employment Services and Integrated Work, or Community Living and supports the philosophy of community-based vocational instruction and/or community support services. He/she will have extensive background in working with persons with severe disabilities, as well as experience in job development and employer negotiations.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities preferably in a community setting or related experience.
  • Supervisory experience in human services or in related area.
  • BA/BS in human services related area preferred, or equivalent years of related experience maybe substituted, or a combination of education and experience.

PROGRAM DIRECTOR
The Director of Community Living or Employment Solutions performs duties under direct supervision of the CEO and the CFO and in coordination with the Director of Human Resources. He/She provides direct supervision to all Coordinators/Division Managers and indirect supervision to all Facilitators. The Director is responsible for design, development and implementation of the futures planning process, personalized living services and supports, or has extensive knowledge of supported employment training and philosophy. The Director provides direct supervision of administrative team, indirect supervision of direct support staff, overall staff inservice training, staff evaluation as well as development activities, and quality assurance. As program liaison, the Director will work with state and local agencies to ensure quality supports and compliance with county, state and federal regulations and guidelines.

Additional Qualifications Include:

  • MA / MS / MSW /M Ed in human services or related field or LCSW (FSS ONLY)
  • Five years experience working directly with individuals with disabilities
  • Three to five years in administrative or supervisory capacity
  • Knowledge and experience in best practices which are consistent with the mission of TMI
  • Exceptional writing, organizational, management and communication skills
