SERVICES PROGRAM
WHAT WE DO….
Provide services that include but are not
limited to:
- Employment opportunities in integrated settings at a 1:3
staff to participant ratio
- Ongoing job coaching to ensure success in the work place
- Community skills training in a variety of community settings
- Opportunities to increase presence and participation in
local neighborhoods
- Support to use public transportation where appropriate
- Door-to-door transportation where appropriate
- Training in self-advocacy skills
HIGHLIGHTS:
- Services are provided throughout San Diego County
- Six hours a day of support and training in actual work and
community settings
- Job development, placement and job coaching
- Social Security assistance and advocacy
- Opportunities to develop relationships with non-disabled
co-workers and peers
- Training in self-help, socialization and behavioral skills
FUNDING:
Integrated Work Services are funded by San Diego Regional Center
with funds from the State Department of Developmental Services.
