Since 1981, TMI has been dedicated to assisting children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome, and cerebral palsy, as well as the deaf and hard of hearing to, to live, work and participate in their community.
ACT II is a family owned and operated ladies resale boutique, which has been in business for more than 35 years. Thirty-five years ago someone in La Mesa was selling a six week old consignment store. Dolores Buller was a stay at home mom for seventeen years when she found herself divorced and in need of a job. Even though she knew nothing about owning a store, let alone knowing the meaning of consignment, she took a huge risk and bought the store. This risk quickly proved itself to be the perfect fit for her family.
ACT II was first located on Lake Murray Blvd in La Mesa, CA. Over the years they have had numerous locations all over San Diego area. But for the last 20 years there have been two locations in the quaint, friendly and charming Village of La Mesa. Locations: 8321 & 8243 La Mesa Blvd., La Mesa, CA 91942.
ACT II is run by Dolores, her daughter Deanne, and, now that her granddaughter, Jessica, is old enough she is starting to learn the business.
We hope you will take this opportunity to do your Mother's Day shopping at this wonderful family owned boutique while giving back to a great cause. We thank you in advance!
