You Can Make a Difference

THANK YOU to all who donated to Toward Maximum Independence (TM) for #GivingTuesday on December 1, 2020. We raised more than $1,600 for our Julie Casey Honorary Fund which goes directly toward assisting our clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism, Down syndrome and cerebral palsy. In Community Living Services, funds have helped individuals move from group homes to their own apartments, buy essential items for the transition to independence or purchase a baby crib. In Employment Solutions, the fund has helped our clients purchase clothes for job hunting, bus passes, alarm clocks or other items necessary for employment. In Family Support Services, the fund has been used to send children to summer camp, assist with medication cost, purchase clothing at the beginning of placement and more.

While #GivingTuesday may be over for 2020, are are always accepting donations.

We thank you in advance!

Please mark your calendars to join us for #GivingTuesday on November 30, 2021!

An estimated 1 in 6 people are born with a developmental disability. Just like all of us, they are born with hopes, dreams and the drive to contribute to society. Since 1981, TMI has transformed thousands of lives by providing assistance to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, giving them the ability to realize their hopes and dreams.
