We Are Here To Help

CLIENT RESOURCES

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is here to help not only our clients, but all individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as the Deaf and Hard of Hearing who need assistance with finding resources in San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties.

The Lanterman Developmental Disabilities Services Act (Lanterman Act for short), which was passed in 1969, is the California law that says people with developmental disabilities and their families have a right to get the services and supports they need to live like people who don’t have disabilities. You can read the complete Consumer's Guide to the Lanterman Act by clicking here.

Below is a list of just some of the resources available for our clients. Should you need assistance with contacting any of these organizations or you aren’t sure where to start with locating a resource, please contact us. Thank you and we look forward to assisting you!
