Employment Solutions
The TMI employment programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Imperial County include: Community Integration Training Program (CITP) Paid Internship Program, and Tailored Day Services (TDS). Our innovative programs seeks to assist our clients with finding employment if they desire and/or help them integrate into the community by volunteering at local businesses. We assist our clients with being contributing members of society. Programs are funded by San Diego Regional Center.
Supported Living
The TMI Supported Living program assists individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live independently or with paid support. Personalized supports are dictated by a person’s needs. We provide up to 24 hours a day of one-on-one support designed to meet each individuals needs.
In addition, Supported Living can provide personal/domestic assistance that is not covered by generic resources and can include a variety of assistance.
Family Focused Supports
The TMI Family Focused Supports program is designed to keep families with a child or children who have intellectual and/or developmental disabilities together by offering training for parents, extended family members and respite providers. Intensive social work and behavioral support is also offered, along with 24-hour emergency backup support, training, and our ever-evolving cultivation of community resources.
