TOWARD MAXIMUM INDEPENDENCE
ESCONDIDO OFFICE
Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) proudly provides services for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome throughout North San Diego County. Please review our innovative and trusted programs and feel free to contact us with any questions.
Employment Solutions
The TMI employment programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in North County San Diego include: Integrated Work, Supported Employment and Tailored Day Services. Our innovative programs seek to assist our clients with finding employment if they desire and/or help them integrate into the community by volunteering at local businesses. We assist our clients with being contributing members of society. These programs are funded by San Diego Regional Center.
Community Living Services
Our Community Living Services program includes Supported Living Services and Independent Living Services. In order to live in a home or apartment in the community, one person with an intellectual and/or developmental disability may need live-in support, while others may need only intermittent “come in” support once or twice a week to help with such things as meal planning, grocery shopping or banking. We help our clients to be more independent.
