Founded in 1981, Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) is a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to transforming the lives of children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and veterans with disabilities. Our services help our clients to realize their hopes and dreams. We are very proud of the work that we do!

Youth thrive when they feel safe, secure and loved. It is our goal to recruit Resource Families that can offer these comforts that should be afforded to all youth. We have youth waiting for a caring home.
