Happy 90th Birthday to Toward Maximum Independence Client Everett!

Updated: May 15, 2019

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) would like to wish a very happy birthday to Everett who turned 90 on December 7, 2015. We have had the pleasure of providing Supported Living (SL) Services to Everett for more than 27 years. To celebrate Everett’s birthday, his SL Facilitator, Rosalind, drove him to Chico, CA to visit his younger sister and his only remaining sibling, Dorothy. Everett recently underwent a cataract surgery, so he was thrilled to be able to see her clearly. This may have been their last visit together since traveling has become very difficult for them both.

Not only did they celebrate his birthday, but they enjoyed an early Christmas celebration at Everett’s niece’s home. Rosalind said that the experience of being able to take Everett to see his sister has “truly blessed her heart” and she is very happy that Everett, TMI and SDRC trusted her to take him on the long trip. TMI would like to give a big thank you to Rosalind for taking Everett to see his family. You truly are making a difference in the lives of our clients and TMI appreciates all you do! From all of us at TMI we would like to wish Everett the happiest of birthdays. We hope your ninetieth year is amazing!
