We would like to congratulate Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) client, Kathy, for being honored as a Vons Employee of the Month! TMI has been providing support to Kathy through our Supported Employment program for more than eight years. We initially assisted her with securing her position as a Courtesy Clerk at the Pacific Beach Vons. Kathy has been hard at work pursuing and accomplishing her dreams with the help of TMI. She is very well liked by her coworkers who admire her hard work and dedication. The many customers that come into the store each day appreciate Kathy's positive attitude and willingness to always help with a smile on her face. She independently rides the bus to and from work and can be counted on to be there and on time. Not only is Kathy succeeding in her professional life, but she also owns her own condo where she lives with a paid roommate. Congratulations, Kathy! You are an inspiration to us all.
