Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) was honored to select our new Board of Directors Staff Representative effective July 1, 2018. All of our nominees were excellent candidates. Nominated were: Supported Employment Division Manager Brent Ramsey, Tailored Day Services Division Manager Araceli Ituarte, Integrated Work Division Manager Dennis Moran, Integrated Work Division Manager Eric Marty and Office Manager Niki Watkins.

Dennis Moran was chosen by his peers as TMI's Staff Representative. Dennis has been with TMI for more than 15 years. He has worked in Community Living Services, Supported Employment and has been an Integrated Work Division Manager for three years.

"I'm very humbled to be the new Staff Board Representative - to be chosen among such amazing people is an honor," said Dennis.

Dennis is replacing the outgoing Staff Representative, Family Support Services Social Worker Raymond Dacumous, who completed his term. TMI thanks Raymond for his dedication to representing our staff in a fair and honest manner.

"I plan to represent the staff with the same honor and commitment Raymond served with," added Dennis.

TMI's Staff Representative attends quarterly TMI Board of Director meetings and is available to hear from all TMI staff and report back to the Board when needed. It is an important role at the agency and helps to give a voice to all TMI employees.

TMI's Office Manager, Niki Watkins, was chosen as the alternate Staff Representative.

"I am so proud of all the nominees for wanting to make a difference for TMI Staff," said TMI Executive Director Rachel Harris.

Congratulations to Dennis and all of our nominees! We know Dennis will do a great job of representing TMI's employees.
