In January TMI Celebrated the Birthdays of Two of Our Wonderful Clients

Sandy, who has Down syndrome, has worked in the Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) corporate office as an Office Aide for nearly 25 years! She always come to work with a smile on her face and helps to keep our San Diego office running smoothly.

Vanessa has worked with Sandy in the TMI San Diego office as an Office Aide for more than 11 years! She is a joy to work with and helps contribute to a positive and productive work environment.

Sandy and Vanessa, along with their co-worker Shawn, make a great TMI Integrated Work team! TMI's Integrated Work day program is designed to meet the employment and community integration needs of individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. The group are all paid TMI employees. With the assistance of their fantastic Job Coach Beverly Edwards, they ensure TMI's San Diego office supplies are replenished, recycling is done, kitchen areas are kept clean, filing is up to date and much more. Sandy and Vanessa are wonderful to work with and help to contribute to employee morale overall.
