The California Department of Developmental Services is the agency through which the State of California provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities. These disabilities include intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism and related conditions. TMI receives funding from DDS. The San Diego Regional Center is one of 21 Regional Centers for persons with developmental disabilities in the State of California. These centers were originally established to assist persons with intellectual disabilities and their families in locating and developing services and programs within their communities.
Inland Regional Center’s qualified and supportive employees strive daily to serve more than 32,000 individuals with developmental disabilities in San Bernardino and Riverside counties. As the largest of the regional centers in the State of California, Inland Regional Center is a nonprofit, private community-based agency that is proud to help obtain services and support for our constituents. Our core values of independence, inclusion and empowerment are the foundation that drives all staff in interactions, provisions of services, and program planning processes.
The California Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) administers the largest vocational rehabilitation program in the country. We have a three-pronged mission to provide services and advocacy that assist people with disabilities to live independently, become employed and have equality in the communities in which they live and work. DOR provides consultation, counseling and vocational rehabilitation, and works with community partners to assist the consumers we serve.
