TMI Clients: Rising Stars

Updated: May 15, 2019

Christina and Daniel receiving their awards

Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) Job Coach, Doug Hoehn, couldn’t be more proud of Daniel and Christina, two TMI clients who he has supported in our Integrated Work program since January 2013. On Wednesdays Doug assists Daniel and Christina with their volunteer work at the San Diego Food Bank where they send out thank you letters and donation requests. While they love their paid positions at Vons, they are also extremely passionate about the volunteer work they are doing at the Food Bank. Each day they are there they can process up to two hundred letters. Their hard work and dedication didn’t go unnoticed! Daniel and Christina were recently honored for their volunteer work at a special luncheon. When we asked Doug what their disability was he said, “To me, none…they are ABLE! I am very proud to work with these two highly motivated young people.” These three make a great team!

Thanks, Doug, for being such an amazing Job Coach and helping these two to succeed!
