Marcus Byrd

Helping others face and overcome life’s obstacles has been Marcus’ chosen career path and mission in life. A native of San Diego, Marcus has worked in human services since 2001. He holds a Bachelors’ Degree in Psychology and was certified as an Addiction Specialist for 15 years before coming to TMI in 2016. Over the years, Marcus has supported individuals with overcoming various challenges including homelessness, addiction, mental health disorders, and now those with disabilities. Marcus is a loving husband and father to five amazing children. He enjoys traveling abroad as a means of enhancing life by experiencing various cultures.

He believes that the greatest human endeavor is to be a source of support to one’s fellow man. This focus and commitment, along with his commitment to his family and close friends, gives him meaning and purpose and a life worth living.
