Congratulations to Leslie Runyon on her promotion to Executive Administrative and Finance Specialist in the Toward Maximum Independence (TMI) San Diego office. Leslie started with TMI as an Executive Administrative Assistant in June 2016. In her new role, Leslie will be assisting TMI's finance team with billing, as well continuing to provide executive support.
“I really enjoy working for a company that works with, and essentially for, the community,” said Leslie. It’s wonderful to know that what you do has a positive effect on someone’s life, particularly the life of someone with a developmental disability.” Congratulations, Leslie!
(Ernetta with her daughter Kiara)
Ernetta White joined TMI as an Administrative Assistant in April. She is a woman of faith and a mother of two amazing young adults; Denzel, 26, and Kiara, 19. Ernetta loves spending time with family, going to church and helping others. She is a foodie at heart and enjoys trying new things, as well as traveling and experiencing different cultures.
Ernetta believes there is a lesson and blessing in every interaction if we are open to receive it. She adores beautiful sunset walks with her daughter, reading things that help her grow, writing poetry, laughing out loud and of course a good sale. Ernetta believes the purpose of life is to discover your purpose and part of hers is to empower and encourage others, so she looks for opportunities to do so daily.
"Working at TMI affords me the opportunity to interact with beautiful people on a daily basis," said Ernetta. "I love everything about TMI and what it stands for. To work for an organization that empowers adults and children with developmental disabilities is such a blessing and I'm grateful for the opportunity to grow with TMI."
Welcome to the TMI team, Ernetta!
